Ballet

Our prestigious Ballet Ensemble is another highlight of Eastwood Public School’s performing arts program. Under the guidance of highly experienced ballet teachers, students refine their technique, artistry, and stage presence—perfecting graceful port de bras, precise pirouettes, and elegant arabesques.

The Ensemble has graced some of Australia’s most celebrated stages, including the Sydney North Festival, the State Dance Festival, and the Ryde School Spectacular at the iconic Sydney Opera House. Through disciplined training and expressive performance, our dancers embody the beauty and poise of classical ballet.

Debating

At Eastwood Public School, our debating program gives students the opportunity to develop skills that will benefit them for life. Through engaging practice, they learn how to research topics, structure persuasive arguments, listen critically, and respond with clarity and respect. These skills are then put into action in friendly competitions against schools in the local area, where students build confidence, teamwork, and the ability to think on their feet – qualities that prepare them to speak up, stand out, and succeed beyond the classroom.

Creative and performing arts

Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.

Trips and excursions

Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
