The Eastwood Public School difference

A strong start

We give every student a strong start by building solid foundations in literacy and numeracy, while nurturing their curiosity, confidence and love of learning.

Growth in the classroom and beyond

We deliver high-quality teaching and a wide range of extracurricular programs to support strong academic growth and well-rounded student development.

Wellbeing as a foundation for student success

Our school recognises that student wellbeing is key to academic and personal success, so we prioritise a safe, inclusive environment supported by strong relationships, proactive programs, and a culture where every student feels connected and cared for.

ANZAC Day Ceremony

Eastwood Public School was incredibly honoured to welcome a number of distinguished guests to our recent ANZAC Day ceremony. We extend our sincere thanks to the Honourable Richard Marles, Deputy Prime Minister of Australia and Minister for Defence, and Jerome Laxale MP, Federal Member for Bennelong, for taking the time to attend and support our school community.

We were also privileged to have Major Richard Brayshaw (Retired), Daniel Hurd, Director for Educational Leadership, and Mrs T Kazi-Taplin, President of our P&C, join us for this important occasion.

Their presence added a great deal to the ceremony and reinforced the strong connection between our school and the wider community. We are very grateful for their support and for helping make the event such a meaningful experience for our students.
